| Always Treat your Kitten or Cat with Kindness .. Care and Love! |
The cute Kitten/Cat you have bought home will be good for your whole families health .. it is a know fact that pet owners enjoy better health than people who do not own a pet .. it is vital to ensure your pet is kept healthy and happy to reap the benefits that your pet can bring you.
The following information is meant to provide a very basic overview of caring for your pet .. it does not cover every aspect of pet care .. we strongly recommend that you contact your local vet to ensure the welfare of your pet.

COMING HOME:
Keep your new kitten/cat inside for at least 10 days to adjust to their new environment. Introduce your cat/kitten to a room they can run to for security when they feel scared. Set up this room with a litter tray, warm bed, toys & water bowl. Don't introduce other pets immediately. Let them see each other through a screen door so they can get use to the idea. |

KITTY LITTER TRAINING:
Provide a Kitty Litter Tray and change litter daily .. show your kitten/cat where the tray is and put them in it so they know exactly where it is. |

FEEDING:
Feed your kitten .. Kitten Tin Food and Kitten Biscuits .. kittens need 3 meals a day .. feed adult cats Cat Tin Food and Cat Biscuits they need 2 meals a day .. never give cats cow milk .. there is special milk formula for cats at the super market. |

WATER:
Always provide a bowl of fresh water. |

WORMING:
Worm your kitten/cat regularly!
- 2 - 12 weeks old every 2 weeks
- 3 - 6 months old every month
- After 6 months old every 3 months

Your local Vet will advise on the recommended dosage to suit your kitten/cat.

VACCINATIONS:
Vaccinations are life saving .. keep your kitten/cat vaccinations up to date to guard against Feline Enteritis and other Viruses .. kittens should be vaccinated at 6 weeks of age .. followed by a booster shot at 12 weeks of age .. then yearly vaccinations are necessary.
Prove of current vaccinations are requested at all Cattery Boarding Facilities. |

SAFETY:
Safety of your cat is important .. we strongly advise that you keep your cat inside at night .. you will also be playing a valuable role in keeping our wildlife safer. |
