Ellie (Tahiti)

To the Staff of Yaps
Just to let you know that I am enjoying my new home .. and all the cuddles and kisses .. I have breakfast in the morning around 7-7.30am and then out to the garden .. as you can see from the photo's attached in the mornings I help with doing the gardening .. one of the pots I think has a dead plant in it so I have had to have a little chew of it .. I wonder if I should tell them that it is dead .. they are Florists so they they grow all the greenery for themselves in pots .. and then once we have finished in the garden it is time for a little snooze and then the afternoon is mine for what ever I want to do .. but I cannot wait until 5.30pm for dinner .. again I cannot tell you how much I love it here.

P.S:   Can you please let my mum know that I am OK and that I hope that she will find a wonderful family soon.

Yours Faithfully
Ellie

Update: August 2008

Dear Carol and YAPS Staff
Funnily enough I was thinking of sending you an update about Codie yesterday but didn't get a chance .. we are very happy with her and she seems happy in her new home .. Codie loves playing catch .. going on picnics .. snuggling in her kennel .. going for walks (she is very good) .. watching TV with us of an evening .. here are a few more pics of her .. Codie gets along great with my 3 year old daughter .. who loves to feed her .. give her instructions on your mat .. sit when waiting for her to put food out then eat and play ball with her .. Codie has a lovely nature and is a great addition to our family.

Thanks again
Olivia

Hey There
You may or may not recall who I am .. but I was the 2nd year vet student that adopted on of your Siamese X Kittens (Willow) in February 2008 .. anyhow I just wanted to let you know how she is going .. she is settled in very well to her new home in brisbane and loves all the cool hiding spots .. she got desexed last wednesday (7th May 2008) .. she last weighedat 2.3kg and is still growing .. at the moment she has a bucket collar on because she will not leave her stitches alone .. but aside from that she is one very happy and healthy kitten .. I have attached a picture of her for you .. hope you like it .. she is a beautiful and friendly little girl and is also very trusting .. she also loves going to the vet .. which the vet finds funny .. hope everything ay Yaps is going well .. thank you ever so much for letting this not so little bundle of joy into my life.

Cheers

Kosta
Adopted 31st May 2008

Morning Carol and YAPS Staff

We just thought I would let you know that Kosta seems to be settling in very well .. he enjoyed sleeping on his bed last night and is becoming quite used to being inside with us on an evening .. he had a busy afternoon yesterday sniffing every square inch of the yard and going to the beach for a paddle .. Kosta has set a new record for destroying a tennis ball .. 20 pieces in 20 seconds!!!!
Kosta
UPDATE:   2nd June 2008

Morning All

Sunday went well going to the beach again .. destroying tennis ball again .. Monday first day at home alone result .. Howl and Howl a bit more lasting 2 hours .. how do we know this .. the neighbour dropped in to let us know!!! .. I am not sure we told you that we have just moved into the a new neighbourhood 3 weeks ago .. our new brilliant neighbour who works from home has offered to come over and say hello to him when we are at work and would love to take him for a walk during the day .. how great is that .. lucky he is cute!!!!!! .. we are off to the vets on Friday so I will let you all know how it goes.
Kosta
UPDATE:   10nd June 2008

Hi All

Kosta would like to announce that he is heartworm free .. we went to the Vets on Friday and other than trying to hide under my chair and having to half sit on my lap while the Vet took his blood all is fine .. the tough dog image has now been lost!!!! .. we have solved the tennis ball destruction by buying pro tennis balls which take at least 4 days to destroy .. lucky Kmart had 25% off last weekend on tennis balls .. Kosta has truly become one of the family .. hopefully will not turn into a spoilt only child brat and just remain spoilt .. we are having a little bit of separation anxiety on both sides which I am hoping will settle down as we are booked to go away during the show weekend.

Keep up the absolutely brilliant job you guys are doing......................

Regards
Dan and Caren
