Smoochy the Wonder Cat   (Deana)

Hi Guys
I just wanted to give you an update & some photos of a pussycat that we adopted a couple of months ago.

We fell in love with Deana almost instantly. She quite happily smooched my 4 year old son without hesitation & we knew then that she was the cat for us.

The minute she set foot (or should I say 'paw') inside our house, it was like she'd always been there. She wasn't skittish at all, didn't hide, didn't even bother to look around to begin with. She just sat on the couch, cleaned herself, then went to sleep! She is an extremely vocal, very playful puss & we've learned quite quickly that feet dangling over the couch may be attacked at random.

All in all, Deana is a wonderful, affectionate fur ball & we cannot thank Y.A.P.S enough for providing her with love & a comfortable home until we adopted her. Thanks!

Cheers, Kylie

UPDATE JULY 2009:

I thought I would send you a few new photo's of Mugsy .. he is doing really well .. very happy .. healthy and full of energy.

The only real issue we have had was that he broke two of his toes about 6 months ago but he recovered beautifully and is now best friends with the staff at regular vet .. Earlville Vet Surgery.

We took him to puppy preschool and we have got him to sit .. shake hands .. drop .. roll over and jump through a hoop.

I am going to set up little jumps and things shortly also .. something like an agility thing .. I saw it on Better Homes and Gardens .. the photo's attached were taken in May 2009.

Maggie   (Kokoda)

Hi There
I adopted the blue cattle dog you named Kokoda we now call Maggie in July 2009 .. we are just letting you know she is settling in great .. she gets on well with our other cattle dog Buddy.

Unfortunately we have found out that she is deaf .. she is still the most beautiful dog and we are going to keep her for life .. we are just lucky we live on a property and nowhere near roads so she can not get run over accidently!

Spot  (Sarge)  and  Socks  (Sam)

Hello YAPS
This is just a quick note from the brothers Sarge and Sam .. you took care of us when we were very little and helped us to find our new home and Mummy and Daddy.

It has been an exciting time since we left you in December 2008 .. we have been given new names .. collars .. bells .. badges and a home and garden to play in.

Hi it's Sam here the fluffy Tabby .. my name is Socks now .. thanks to my white socks.

My bother Sarge is called Spots now .. although our parents call us Fluffy and Slinky too .. so we really answer to either name.

When we first arrived home we were really scared .. we hid under the couch for a couple of hours .. I am much braver than my brother and was the first one to come out and explore.

Since then we have mastered the house and convinced our parents to let us have outside play play in the morning and afternoons .. this is excellent as Spots and me really like playing in the garden.

It is heaps of fun to run around and chase butterflies.

During the day we are really tired so we like to sleep on the couch and under our parents bed .. at night time we greet them at the door and show them how much we love them .. they give us lots of cuddles.

I think since we have left you we have probably had 3000 play fights with each other .. we have had over 200 serves of oh so fishy (our favourite!) and too many cuddles to count.

Thank you so much for taking care of us YAPS .. we really appreciate everything that you did for us and thank you for helping our brother and sister find a home too .. we caught up with them when we got desexed and we were all really happy.

PS: I have attached a few recent pictures of us around the house and garden .. Mum and Dad are always taking our pictures ... we must be cute!

Ooops! Mummy is calling us for dinner .. got to go.....

Thanks Yaps

Hello All at YAPS
My name is Eryn and I adopted Ernie the 10 month old Mastiff X from you in December 2008.

I wanted to let you no that he is doing extremely well and I could not have asked for a better dag to be around my children.

He has been in a little bit of trouble with everything that he chews nothing is safe not even inside the house he likes to sneak in and sneak out with a toy or anything he can get to ... lol.

He loves camping and swimming especially in the pool with the kids he does not let them out of his sight no matter where we are and if he can not see them he goes mental he is a very much loved pooch in this house!!!!

I was also wondering if you could recommend a tanning course that I can put him through as I am still having a few problems with walking him and him jumping alot????

I have attached a few photo's that I thought you might like see thank you for giving me a great friend.....xxoo
