Hello Dorothy and all YAPs Staff
I just wanted to let you know how my new home and life are going with my new mummy in Kewarra Beach ... my mum chose me after coming to visit me at YAPS and seeing how affectionate and beautiful I was with a lovely temperament and nature ... I could tell that she just wanted to pick me up and cuddle me ...
Mum made sure that I had everything I needed when I arrived at my new home ... lots of toys to keep me interested and entertained, a new dog bed and mats but most of all she kept me company all day coming and playing with me or sitting with me and talking to me ...
though mum bought me a new bed, I prefer to sleep on her bean bag and have now claimed this as my own and I know she doesn't mind at all, she thinks it's rather cute actually ... my favourite toy is a giraffe which makes a noise when I bite it ... I also have a pig and elephant which are my next favourites ...
Even though mum works she takes me for a walk every day when she gets home and we have playtime in the mornings before she leaves and every night once I have eaten and settled ... before bedtime we have cuddles too.
Poor mum she keeps saying to me that I think I am a lap dog because I like to lie all over her when she sits on the bean bag with me .. she says that I don't realise how big I am but she loves it just like she loves me.
On the weekends mum takes me to the beach for a walk in the mornings and I have met some friends already as everyone stops to say how cute I am .. I am not sure about the water yet as I'm not used to hearing waves crash and water coming up the sand .. I love lying on my tummy on the sand though.
I have a nice yard that I can run around and play in with high fences so it is safe and secure .. there are lots of areas to explore as well and I can communicate with the puppy living next door who I think is new to his family as well.
Mum has told me she is enrolled me into dog training school and we start in a few weeks .. that will keep me busy and help to socialise me as well, who knows I may get some doggy play dates as well!
Speaking of doggy play dates .. mum had a friend of hers come and visit and he brought his little staffie Mack with him .. I was not sure what to make of him as he is a ball of energy and was running around like a dog possessed .. I enjoyed his company and we played well together.
Thank you for taking such good care of me while I was at YAPS ... life is good and I love my new home and mum .. I have attached some photos of me on Mum's bean bag .. on my first day home relaxing and down the beach ...

Hello from Lovely Latte
Dear YAPS Staff
I just wanted to let you know about my new life .. my new Mummy .. my new home and my new Grandparents .. my Mummy chose me at YAPS within 20 hours of her previous doggy going to Heaven .. she said because of the enormous hole that was left in her life when Mambo passed.
I think she loved him very very much .. just like she loves me .. check out my pad .. I have my own full-length single bed mattress to sleep on .. which is beside her big bed .. I get clean sheets every week, just like she does.
Also I have my own bean bag for when I am inside with her and the outer cover gets washed every week too .. we have an airconditioned home .. which is safe .. cosy and peaceful and I have a lovely back garden that is well maintained and securely fenced .. although I am not out there all that much because I am either with Mum or at daycare.
I am served a delicious dinner every night and a little dry food and treats for breakfast each morning .. sorry I was fussy about my food when I lived with you but I am not fussy anymore .. sometimes I think my dinner looks and tastes better than Mum's.
My Mummy takes me for a walk EVERY afternoon .. even if I am a bit tired after attending Doggie Daycare at Poochies Parlour .. Mum says she needs the walk as much as I do .. at daycare .. I am allowed in with the big dogs as well as the little puppies .. because I get on with all my doggy friends as well as the staff.
On Sunday mornings Mummy takes me to Holloways Beach for a long walk and she throws my soft rubbery ball for me which I chase but I do not get the point of why I need to bring it back to her .. I think my Mum is still learning it is only about throwing.
After the beach, my Mummy then takes me to Goomboora Park at Brinsmead. She likes to go in the water there like other dogs, but I don't want to get my hair wet. I still like going there though and watching her get wet.
Because my Mummy has to travel for work once every couple of months for a day or two .. I get to stay and Grandma's and Grandpa's where I get taken for lots and lots of short walks each day .. Grandpa likes walking a lot so I go with him to look after him.
Grandma spoils me and has another mattress for me to sleep on next to their bed when I stay at their place .. I have attached a recent photo of me on my bean bag at home and I just want to thank you for looking after me as wonderfully as you did after I was abandoned and pregnant.
My Mummy says I am all muscle and boobs .. just like she is! My past life is now behind me and Mummy has promised me that I will never be abandoned EVER again!
