Last Update: Toby and Alfie Hi Folks This is to just let you all know that Toby has settled in well .. although I really think Alfie would prefer to be an only dog .. but Toby is good for him .. it has made him more competitive .. they both love the beach. I was rehomed on the 4th December 2004 .. next to me is Shadow (or Port) also a Yaps dog .. he was a little Rottie Cross pup this time last year .. he has been to puppy pre-school and is now Delta Trained level 3. I will looking forward to going to training .. I can sit but I only drop sometimes .. I'll never be homeless again as both Shadow and I are now micro-chipped. PS: I love going in the cage on Dad's ute and I love jumping all over Mum and Dad .. but I hate going swimming .. I don't really like water (yet). Anyway Bye For Now Olive Rosie (Karma) Dear staff members Just a short note to let you know that Rosie is doing great in her new home with us .. she was a good girl in the car and settled in straight away .. my kids just love her and she responds to her new name already .. Rosie is very obedient and smart .. this morning my husband greeted her at the back door .. then he shut the door .. Rosie knew he would go to the front door next so she ran around to the front door and came in .. she saw that I was still in bed but awake .. she came racing in all excited and jumped up on the bed for a cuddle .. when you tell Rosie to get off she does .. she's just beautiful .. Thank you for looking after her until we came along. Bear is wonderful with the children .. he has learnt his new name and we are progressing with his COME and SIT lessons and they are going well .. he was suppose to be an outside dog .. but the evidence proves otherwise .. he is a fantastic boy and I hope you are happy with the photos as I know you worry about the animals going to good homes .. Sincerely Kylie and family Sheba (Sheeva) June and her husband came out to YAPS looking for a small dog.. well Sheba is not exactly what you would call small but as soon as June and her husband saw Sheba they just knew she was the dog for them. Sheba is now one very spoilt girl and has made friends with the dog 2 doors down from her new home. This dog also came from YAPS about 6 years ago. Cinders Hi Everyone Just letting you know that Cinders has settled in well. She is so friendly and affectionate and talks non stop. We have adapted our household to her needs .. the bathroom window is hers to sit and watch the garden and we have installed a cat door for her convenience. Cinders territory inside is upstairs .. the dogs is downstairs .. below her .. she is superior to him and has him bluffed .. she will come downstairs to join us in the evenings .. at her discretion only .. if TV looks interesting enough. AKA Caddie has settled into her new home .. she is a loving and friendly dog towards all two legged acquaintances .. her obedience training is coming along steadily and she is learning to get along with all the other dogs in the neighbourhood. Regards Di The Mr Tiddles Hello All you guys at YAPS Thought I would send you a few photos of Mr T .. he was Mr Timms when he left you but is named Mr Tiddles now .. he seems to have adjusted very well to the name change .. he also seems to be adjusting very nicely to his new environment .. he is a very adaptable boy and very very loving. Mr T has been very relaxed about the 2 dogs .. who we also got from you guys at Yaps .. they have taken a while to understand that he is not dinner .. but they seem to be getting the idea now! As we live on the water .. Mr T has also had to be inducted in the way of the dinghy .. he now hops into his harness and goes belting down the creek with the dogs and myself when we go for our walks. Mr T seems quite taken with the mariners way of life and adores watching the water at night time .. he also loves his cuddles and grooming. Thank you so much for passing him on to us .. we are very lucky to have him in our lives .. Thanks again guys and we hope all your days are great. All the best Sam Devine Is this the same dog? Rum (Bundy) Love is in the air! Hi YAPS Staff Bundy is called Rum now and he is doing fine as you can see .. he has settled into our family better than we could have hoped for. Rum is much happier and his personality has developed since being here .. many thanks for saving this beautiful boy for us. Jeananne BEHIND THE SCENES AT YAPS Jeananne is what Yaps Animal Refuge dream about for their animals .. Bundy was a Special Case and Jeananne went above and beyond to give him the start he needed .. you can see in the photos the vast difference in Bundy from when he was surrendered to YAPS until Jeananne took him home and gave him safety and love .. although we at YAPS do the best we can with our homeless animals .. only love and a family can complete their lives. Whisky Hi There Just thought I would send you a photo of Whisky with his new family .. he is doing well .. a real little treasure .. he and our girl Duchess adore each other .. well take care and keep up the good work. Thank you Yaps. Jude and Pete Rosie To Yaps Thank you so much for the new edition to our family .. Rosie. It took her no time to settle in and no time for us and Sledge to fall in love with her. Sledge is our other dog and Rosie's big brother in the back ground. Sledge is so much happier with someone to play with. Rosie will be going on her first camping trip next week ..
