About:  When Rani arrived at Yaps with her kittens we were unable to touch her as she was terrified of humans, but who can blame her as she had a rubber band around her back end that had partially embedded into her skin!!
Today we have a totally different cat,  smoochie, cuddly and a purr machine, such a beautiful kind quiet gentle girl.

About: Our lovely Tamika has been with us for a while as we’ve worked to show her that humans can be kind and caring. There’s still a little way to go but put a brush in your hand and she’s more than happy to enjoy some grooming, especially around her neck.
Tamika was found under a house with her kittens, and it took some time for the homeowner to catch her and bring her into Yaps’ care. She was terrified of people, never aggressive, just so scared it was heartbreaking to see. We’ve been helping her gain confidence, and though she’s still cautious, her playful, cheeky side is starting to shine.
She would thrive in a quiet home with someone patient enough to let her settle in at her own pace.
And yes—a brush or scratching mitt is a must for her new family!
