- All cats have a secure hygienic exercise area to romp or laze about in.
- We provide special attention for our senior cats.
- Most diets are catered for and we will do our utmost to ensure that your pet is fed as close as possible to his/her normal diet at home to avoid upset tummies and settling in problems.
We DO NOT cater for cats on special Vet diets, owners will need to supply this food - If your cat requires medication during its stay please label each item with
-Full name of your pet
-Clear instructions example dosage rates, times etc
Fees Do Not apply to medicate your pet. - Cats in season are boarded only by prior arrangements.
- If your cat needs an emergency vet visit during it’s stay, YAPS uses the Cairns Vet Clinic on Pease Street. Our Managers will always try and contact you first.
Vaccinations Compulsory:
- For the health and safety of your pets .. all cats must be fully vaccinated.
- Pets must be vaccinated at least 14 days prior to entering for boarding.
- Proof of vaccination must be sited by kennel staff prior to acceptance for boarding.
- Worming and Flea treatment of all cats is recommended before boarding

- Cats: F3
Inspections are Welcomed: (Monday to Sat between 10am and noon)

Cattery Opening Hours (this includes drop offs and pick ups).
Monday to Saturday 8am to 11.30am and 3pm to 5.30pm.
Sundays and most public holidays 3pm to 5.30pm

Rates: Please note due to increasing costs our boarding fees will increase as of March 1 2025
- Fees are calculated on a daily rate.
- Standard Room 1 Cat $30.00 per day. Oasis Room (large) 1 Cat $35.00
- Oasis Room (large) 2 Cats sharing 1 Room $50.00
- Oasis Room (large) 3 Cats sharing 1 Room $60.00
- Charges are per calendar day.
- Due to Penalty Rates on Public Holidays a Public Holiday Fee of $10.00 a day for each animal will be charged (for the Public Holiday ONLY)

- 2 Cats sharing 1 Room from $45.00
- 3 Cats sharing 1 Room from $54.00
